Steve Jobs gave a keynote speech today announcing new ipods and such. During the presentation on iOS 4 coming to the iPad in November we got a glimpse of Steve’s iPad. Nestled amongst NPR, New York Times, ABC, Plants Vs. Zombies and other big name apps was our very own ColorPlay!

Baby Genius

I stumbled across a youtube video of a baby using ColorPlay. It blows my mind how smart this kid is. He has no problems unlocking the iPad and dismissing a prompt. And he’s smart enough to go straight to the coolest app on the iPad.

I teamed up with a couple guys to create a coloring book app for the iPad called ColorPlay. You can color all of my illustrations and then watch them animate when you press the play button. I made ten farm animal pages for the release and will soon update the app with more illustrations. I’m excited to see how it looks on an actual device when it’s released tomorrow.

I have repurposed an illustration I made almost a year ago and made into an AS3 (ActionScript 3) Flash site. I learned a lot in the process and will be able to hit the ground running the next time I delve into the world of AS3 programming.
