Owl as Death
Another screen print design. I was going for a cross between an owl and a skull.
T Shirt Designs

I created these t-shirt designs to submit to threadless. You may recognize the ghost character. I took off his spiky headdress for this design, he seems to be a little friendlier this way.

I’ve always loved the tree spirit characters from Princess Mononoke. This drawing makes it obvious that they’ve left an influence on me.
URL Icon
On a technical note, I found a pretty handy little tool to create an .ico file for the little icon that appears next to your URL in the browser location bar and in your favorites menu. Apparently it’s called a favicon, short for ‘favorites icon.’The file has to be 16 x 16 and less than 150 k.
The tool can be found at dynamicdrive.com.
Boy Vs. Chipmunk

I was thinking about a feral mountain child when I came up with this drawing. He ended up being pretty well-kept, but wild nonetheless. I’ll probably flesh out this concept later on.
Ghost, Extended
I added some more detail, including arms, to the ghost character. I also scanned in some paper to see what it would look like as a screen print.
Some Sort of Ghost

Something to screen print some day. I’m not sure what it is, but I’m pretty sure it can read your thoughts.

Here is what the Cinco de Mayo greeting is looking like. Of course the real greeting for Smilebox is bigger and will incorporate user photos.

I made this pinata for a Cinco de Mayo Smilebox greeting I’m working on. I’ll post the animated version when I finish it.
Old Man Drawing
I was playing around with brushes in Illustrator and I ended up with this sad guy.
