Canned Live Eels. Every serious kitchen has them. I got out some paints to make these textures, the rest is done in Illustrator.

funny how the eels are smiling on the label but they turn out to be totally nasty out of the can– maybe grumpy from being in the can too long?

Gotta say, canned live eels totally creeps me out. I know, I’m a wuss. Well done on the picture though, I think the textures came out very nicely.

Great illustration! Love the contrast of the angry eels against the friendly eel logo on the can. You have a really fun style. Great texture too.
